A public property fund owned by LähiTapiola has acquired Kastelli research center property in Oulu. It´s located next to the Oulu University hospital, and at the heart of the actively developing Kontinkangas welfare campus.
The floor area, 7,000 square metres comprises of offices and laboratory facilities. Additionally, there is still significant amount of unused building rights in the plot.
The fully leased premises are occupied e.g. by Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, Finnish Institute for Welfare and Health, The municipality of Oulu, The University of Oulu, the regional hospital district and Esko Systems.
