Summer is a busy season at Kodisto. Rental apartments are in high demand, especially when, for example, student admissions for studies starting in the autumn are published.
Things are especially busy in traditional student cities such as Turku, Tampere, Vaasa, Oulu, Joensuu, Jyväskylä and Helsinki. However, Kodisto has a good range of options in all cities. Everyone is sure to find a suitable home, and the team also needs reinforcements to help people search for apartments.
“There is demand for Kodisto’s apartments all year round, and in the summer things, shall we say, get extremely busy,” says Tuuli Rossi, Director of Residential Leasing at Kodisto.
During the summer season, a group of summer employees helps us, and they are especially responsible for processing housing applications so that every applicant is contacted by us quickly. Another important task is working in customer service, where we assist and advise our customers with various matters.
According to our summer employees, the best thing about working at Kodisto is the diverse and varied tasks, as well as the great team they get to work with.
Kodisto is well-known and its homes are in high demand
According to a survey commissioned by Oikotie in spring 2026, Kodisto is one of the first names that comes to mind for visitors when home seekers consider where to start looking for a new rental home. (Users who visited the Oikotie Asunnot website in March–April 2026, N=8219.)
An important mission for Kodisto is to find people wonderful homes where it feels good to live and where they’ll want to stay for a long time. Naturally, customer service is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring that every interaction is smooth, warm, and customer-oriented, from the very first contact all the way to everyday life in the home.
“Summer brings new beginnings and opportunities, and for many, it also means searching for a new home. It’s important to us that this journey is as easy and positive an experience as possible. Summer is our busiest season, and we take our work seriously, but not with a serious face – we keep a positive spirit. Good humour is part of our everyday life, and we believe that this is reflected to our customers as a better experience,” says Tuuli.
So no wonder it’s busy!
